CAMP CATANESE PACKING LIST
Location: ASU West 4701 W Thunderbird Rd, Glendale, AZ 85306
Camp is filled with a plethora of activities everyday! To pack for camp, the camping day is split up into 3 parts:
1) Morning Program – you will be in classrooms or in workspaces learning about Science, Technology, Engineering,
and Math, Career Readiness, or College Access. Bring comfortable clothes that you might wear to school.
2) Afternoon Program – you will have time to change before lunch for Afternoon Program. During this time, you will
be playing sports outside or working on crafts inside. Typical clothes for this includes athletic clothes or swimsuits if
you go swimming because all the activities are outside or in the gym. Possible Afternoon Programs: Swimming,
Soccer, Basketball, Dodgeball, Kickball, Sand Volleyball, Adventure Time, Track, Weightlifting, Arts and Crafts,
Baseball, Dance, and Cooking.
3) Evening Program – you will have time to shower and change after Afternoon Program to get ready for the evening.
Evening Program is a time to have fun and socialize with one another. You might want to bring different outfits to
match the different evenings. Possible Evening Programs Include: Carnival Night, Backyard Bash, Soccer Counselor
vs. Campers Game, Dance, Pool Party Night, Banquet, and Graduation.
To help you pack, we have included a packing list as a guide. You DO NOT have to bring all of these items but these
are recommended.
● Shorts
● T-shirts
● Swimsuit
● Underwear
● Long sleeve/sweater (for the AC)
● Long pants/jeans
● One nice outfit for an end of the week celebration
● Socks
● Shoes
● Sunscreen
● Hat for outside
● Pillow
● Bed sheets/blanket (for a twin bed)
● Toiletries for the bathroom (ie: toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, combs, deodorant, etc.)
● Towel and hand towel for bathroom
● Program Outfits *optional* (see above)
